Terms of service

Last updated 5 September 2026. These terms cover your use of BigBoring. Your purchase, if you buy a paid plan, is made through Paddle under Paddle's own buyer terms.

What BigBoring is

BigBoring is software that helps small teams find companies that fit a description you give, check that contact addresses are deliverable, draft outreach, and send it in paced, approved batches. You decide who to target, you approve every message before it is sent, and you are the sender of record for every email that goes out under your name.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and using BigBoring for a business. It is built for business-to-business outreach. It is not for contacting consumers at home, and it is not for sending anything you would not be comfortable signing your own name to.

Your account

You sign in with a link we email you; there is no password. Keep your email account secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. API keys you create carry your identity, so treat them as secrets and revoke any you no longer use.

Acceptable use

Because you are the sender, the law that applies to your outreach applies to you. Using BigBoring you agree that you will:

We watch bounce and complaint rates across the service because one abusive sender damages delivery for everyone. If yours are high, we will pause your sending and contact you. If the problem is the content or the targeting, we may close the account.

What we do to protect deliverability

We never invent an email address. If a prospect has no address on record, they are skipped. We verify addresses before use, exclude shared inboxes, pace sending to the age of the sending domain, and permanently suppress anyone who unsubscribes or whose address bounces. These are not optional features and cannot be switched off.

Plans, payment and changes

Paid plans are billed monthly through Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle collects payment, handles tax and issues your invoice; your payment contract is with Paddle. Plan limits are described on the plan you choose. If you exceed them, sending pauses until the next period or you upgrade. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; the change applies from your next billing period. See the refund policy for cancellations and refunds.

Your data and your content

The audiences you describe, the messages you write, and the prospect records created for you belong to you. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service. How we handle personal data is in the privacy policy.

Availability and support

We aim to keep BigBoring available, but it is provided as is and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We will tell you about planned maintenance where we can. Support is by email at hello@bigboring.com.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard or by emailing us. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms, particularly the acceptable use section. On ending, we delete your prospect records within 30 days unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Suppression records are kept, because their purpose is to make sure people who asked not to be contacted are not contacted.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email you at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use BigBoring after that means you accept the new terms.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the courts of the operator's country of registration. If something has gone wrong, write to us first at hello@bigboring.com; most things can be sorted out in a conversation.
